Dravidian University, 

Dravidian University is recognised by the UGC and has received a B grade from the NAAC for accreditation. Within the university are 4 centres and 30 academic departments. Founded in 1997, this university is open to the public.

University offers a wide range of UG, graduate, diploma, and certificate programs in several subject areas. These programs only accept applications once a year.

It provides courses for distance learning as well. In order to provide high-quality distance education, University's Directorate of Remote Education was founded in the Andhra Pradesh district of Chittoor in 2008. UG courses offered by DDE include B.A., B.Com., BBA, BCA, B. Lib, and B.Sc. Graduate courses include M.A., MCA, M. Com, M.Sc., MBA, M. Lib, and PG Diploma. The results of the students' qualifying exams determine their admission to each of these courses. Forms for applications can be completed offline.

DUCET 2024  at University

• The Dravidian University Common Entrance Test, or DUCET, is a national entrance exam that is given to applicants each year to the university for admission to a number of postgraduate programs, including MA, M.Sc., MLISc, M.COM, MSW, and others.


• On the question paper, candidates will have 100 minutes to respond to one 100 objective-style questions. Every correct response is worth one mark, and there is no negative grading.


• Students can apply to these institutes after meeting the exam requirements.


• The DUCET results of the applicants are used to build the merit list.

Placements at University

• About 70% of the students are assigned. The average compensation package is around Rs. 3 LPA, while the maximum wage package is roughly Rs. 7 LPA. At the college, internships with stipends of about 5,000 rupees are also offered.


• There are fewer placement chances for UG courses.


• The University also operates a Placements Cell.
